Ahh just lost my mucus plug!

I didn't end up losing it with DS1- had to be induced, so I'm hoping this is a sign that labor will come on its own soon! Any 2+ moms who lost their mucus plugs want to share their stories? I know its different for everyone, but just curious to when you went into labor :-)

That's so cool. With my son, I don't remember exactly but I believe I lost it and had him within a week!

I am a FTM- but my sister (with her first) lost hers and don't go into labor for another two weeks.

With DD I started having contractions around 5pm at 37 weeks & 7 days... I lost my mucus plug at about 2am and was dilated to a 10 by 7:30am... Ended up having DD via emergency c-section (she was breeched) at exactly 38 weeks.

Wow that's great-I think i've been slowly loosing mine for a few wks now...Did yours come out in a blob? Sorry gross I know but I don't know alot about it..

Mine kind of came out in a chunk, it actually looked like a small poop with a string of mucus attached, eww...I googled images last night and several different images of it came up.

Thanks everyone! No other signs yet this morning, but we'll see what happens :-) Dr. appt is 2mrw, looking forward to it- hoping for progress :-)

I lost mine (with bloody show too) 9 days ago! I was so anxious and excited when I saw it, but have had no progress since. I hope you have much better luck with yours as a sign of labor on its way!!! Good Luck!

I lost mine on Sunday..I have a doctors appointment and plan on having her check if I'm progressing any.

With DS, lost mine on Wednesday and went into labor on Friday. Good luck!

With DS1, I lost mine at 4 in the morning when I went to the bathroom. My water broke at 4:15am. I had no signs of labor before that, but when it happened, I sure went fast. GL!

TTM here...and with DS 1 & 2 I lost my MP the day I went into labor. some people lose it in pieces and with DS #1 I did starting in the morning and throughout the day- he was born the next day. With DS #2 it came all at once and i was in labor 4 hours later.

i knew it was my MP because a) it looked gross but b) i felt a lot of wetness that i hadn't been feeling.
