I am just over 15 weeks and the last couple of days have noticed some discharge in my underwear, its clear.  Anyone else having this?

    Totally normal! It can get worse the farther along you get! And the warmer it is the more you will see! Dont use panty linners as it can prevent air flow and give you an infection (according to my DR and MW) Change your panties if its a lot. Some days I go through 3 pairs. I bring them to work in a placti baggie, put the "wet" ones in the baggie and put on new clean ones...

    Most days its fine for me, but some says its a drippy faucet! Just make sure its never smelly or off color... :o)

    Ahhh the joys of pregnancy!


    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    I went to the ER last night b/c of this! The past few days have been very different discharge-wise. It was no longer the "snail trail", but more like I peed my pants. My panties were very wet and the fluid was clear. 

    I've read too many horror stories about leaking amniotic fluid, so I went to get checked. It's a quick swab that tells them if it's ok or not. Thankfully, mine was fine.  If you're worried, call your Dr. That's what they're there for :)

    This is EXACTLY what happened to me when I was 18 weeks.  My discharge increased so dramatically and then one morning it felt like a small gush and it was very watery.  So I called the Dr. and although he thought it was nothing, he had me go to the Hospital for piece of mind and luckily everything was fine.  I have a co-worker who had leaking amniotic fluid and lost her baby at 18 weeks, so I was extremely sensitive to that and being that it was so watery - I got freaked out.

     

    I'm sure everything is completely fine, but don't even feel bad about calling your Dr. if your concerned.

    This has been happening to me since week 15. I keep having small "gushes." I got it checked out twice now (once at about 16weeks and once at 20 weeks), both times I got the same answer...I was leaking urine, not amniotic fluid. Turns out the baby looooooooves to sit on my bladder or use it for target practice.

    I do wear panty liners but I change them about once an hour.

    I get it too -- sometimes I'll have the whitish discharge, sometimes the snail trail, other times it'll resember cervical mucous like I get around ovulation time.  I mentioned to my Dr. because I don't remember having it with my DD and she said, completely normal.

    I've also noticed the snail-trail like dicharge is increased the days after I've had sex.  I'm sure it's nothing but mention to your Dr. if it'll make you feel better.
