Hi there ladies!

I've been posting mainly on the infertility boards but I think I can relate to both so I thought Id say hello!!!  My DH and I haven't been TTC but we haven't been TTP (Trying to Prevent...I think I made that up, haha) for over three years. I have major endocrine issues and have been under an Endo. care since age 10 ....so the infertility crap is not a surprise whatsoever. Anywho....I'm getting nervous because after a year of doctors hemming and hawing about what meds to give me, and then deciding on Clomid but telling me it probably wont work (GREAT!) , I'm finally done with my 10 days of Provera. Now its just waiting for AF and so 2 weeks from now I should find out if it works and hopefully be able to schedule my first IUI. I'm so nervous!!!! EEEK!!!
Me: 33, Endocrine issues & FVL       DH: 32, Nothing 
NTNP 2009-2012         TTC since 2012:
  • Clomid, 2 IUI cycles, and 5 IVF cycles = BFN
  • FET #1   August 2013 = BFP!     EDD 5/11/14
  • Jack dx at 19w1d with Dandy Walker on 12/16/13
  • Severe Pre-e /HELLP set in Jack born sleeping at 20w1d on 12/23/13
  • FET #2 --July 2014  BFP!  ---  EDD  4/5/15

Jack has handpicked his sibling up there :)

    Hello and welcome from another Newbie!

    I'm anxiously awaiting the start of my next cycle too, and I'll be doing my first IUI in mid March as well. Here's hoping we both get lucky!

    Good luck! I love that you named your dog after Kenny Chesney. As far as I'm concerned, that alone makes you pretty awesome.

    Hello! We do use the acronym TTA (a=avoid) or NTNP (not trying not preventing). Good luck!

    Sorry that you have to be here, but welcome and GL!  You'll find quite a few ladies that post both on here and on IF.

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    Thanks everyone....thanks for the lingo tip too, I actually was so excited to learn what AF was that I texted it to my Mom. I told her once AF starts I can start my Clomid.....all I got as a response was,"What kind of procedure is AF?"  lol it kind of IS like a procedure, hahaha  Smile
