Consignment stores in LA

I was wondering if anyone here knows of any consignment stores in LA?  One of my good friends took me to one in San Diego and it was amazing!  Most of the maternity pants were around $8, and I bought a dress for $2.  Everything was second hand, but in VERY good condition.  Now I just need to find a store like it up here.  I would prefer Valley or West Side, but might be willing to travel further for a good deal.

    I don't know about maternity clothes, but for kids stuff, try Children's Orchard in Manhattan Beach.

    Yes, there are plenty of childrens' consignment shops around.  It would be nice to find some for maternity clothes.

    There are two consignment sales coming up this month. Valleykidsconsignment.com is in Northridge and is smaller, but less hectic. Lakidsconsignment.com is a huge sale, but can be a bit of a zoo at some times. This one is in Burbank, but they have a few locations on different dates. Both sales have excellent deals and are held a few times a year.

    Sorry, neither of these seem to have linked, but you can find them pretty easily. I love these sales and wait excitedly for them each time they come around!

    I don't think the OP is going to find any maternity clothes at either of those places.  :-(

    Both of the sales have maternity clothes, but the selection can be hit or miss.  I picked up a few items on the cheap when I was pregnant, including a semi-formal dress for $10 that has seen myself and two friends through dressy evenings while hugely pregnant.  Also, at both events, they have a day when many items are 1/2 off.
