I always have been, probably always will be. It definitely hasn't changed much since getting pregnant.
DH... and I, are kind of worried that our child will pick up on my eating habits. I don't eat eggs or beans or much cheese and I have been known to stop eating ground meat for no reason just because it will start to disgust me. I'm very picky about my fruits and veggies... they have to look perfect, if they have brown spots or soft spots I get sick.
Anyone else have things that they won't eat?
Does your child eat these things? If you're a FTM like me, are you concerned about this too?
Am I just crazy and stupid picky? I feel like I am some days.
Re: I am a picky eater
Have you tried retraining yourself? My husband used to be pretty picky, and over the years he decided he didn't want to be that way any more, so he isn't. He still has things he doesn't like and won't eat, but the list is much smaller than it used to be. But it really has to be up to you.
I'm not picky, and as I mentioned my husband used to be but isn't really any more. I am conscious about it, though. I just keep reminding myself that there's no reason not to have baby try something 10 times to see if he/she can get used to a taste. But if the answer is no, I have no plans to force entire servings down his/her throat.
I am a very picky eater as well (and have an issue with inspecting my food too). I will not eat something unless it looks perfect and even then, I am very limited on what I eat.
Unfortunately, ds (4 years old) is an extremely picky eater. There are only about 4-5 foods he will eat. He is very particular about the looks/textures of food as well. I did my best to try and "hide" my behaviors from him, but what can I say?
He has been seeing and OT and a nutritionist since he was 2 years old. They have been very patient working with him (although, we haven't seen huge progress).

My IF blog
I am an extremely picky eater too. No eggs, beans, condiments...no "complicated" foods or foods I can't identify.
I also worry that my child (I'm also a FTM) will pick-up on my eating habits. But, honestly, I'm not the type of person that would require my child to eat something that didn't seem appealing to them anyway...
I've never had any medical problems. So, unless my child isn't getting the appropriate vitamins & minerals, I'm going to try not to worry about it.
