I'm trying to find some books on baby development, or basically what to do with an infant. I'm not sure of what type of stimulation they need or when. Any book recs? I have no idea what I'm doing.
i just checked out a book at the library called the wonder weeks (https://thewonderweeks.com/) that attempts to explain the big developmental leaps your baby makes in the first year. it has helpful tips for what to expect and what you can do to help them with these developmental milestones.
and don't worry. most of us don't have an idea of what to do until we have them in our arms. tummy time, reading to them, talking to them, letting them touch different textures and show them pictures with colors/patterns. you really can't go wrong! if you watched the documentary Babies, you'll see that it doesn't matter what kind of stimulation you're giving them as long as you're interacting with them daily - they all turn out fine.

Thank you for that. I kinda woke up this morning, going WOAH I'll have a real baby in a month or less!
