DS was born on Jan 31, and I don't know when to call him a month old. Would it be tomorrow since it's the last day of Feb? Or would it be March 2 which is exactly 31 days from his birthday? I'm curious which day my ticker will declare him a month old, but I'm more curious which date others would pick. What do you ladies think?
Hmm. I guess I would say March 1st. Not sure why, but that's what I would say!
I feel like March 1st makes the most sense, too. On the 28th, LO will officially be 4 weeks old, and then on March 1st a full month has passed, so it meets both requirements to be officially one month. If you say March 2nd, then what will LO be on March 31st?

I was gonna call him 2 months on March 31. I'm going to count him another month older by when the last day of the month is. February is just a short month, plus 1 month is a special age, so I wanted to celebrate it on the right day. March 1 is a good compromise I suppose. I wonder what my ticker is going to do during months with only 30 days. Not that the ticker is the final word for when I count my baby's age.
Funny you ask this! When I was waiting to have LO I actually thought "I don't want to have him on the 31st because I won't know what to say for months with less than 31 days!"
I was wondering the same thing...DD was born on Jan 30th. I am just thinking of saying March 1st she is a month old. I would say the same for your LO too.

FWIW I would also say march 1
I would say the last day of each month.
For babies born any other day, the date # is what matters - not how many days have passed.
