    yep i did!   Dr. geet.a  shar.ma over in j-130, im the hospital.  Do u know her?  I go on Monday for my first appt. 

    They had to review my file before accepting me.  Only in nyc lol.

    Ok, just kidding obviously, but I know Dr. S very well.  She was the one that took care of me during my post op recovery.  I had a tough c/s recovery and had to stay in the post op for 16 hours and she was there every step of the way.

    Let me know what her office says.. if you don't get in there, I have some recs for you in the same practice.

    ETA: reading comprehension fail.  It looks like you are already in... well, you are in great hands with her.  We'll have to coordinate an appointment/date soon.  My next trip there is next Friday.

    LOL, fear not...I'm already in.  I passed the interview process, and was accepted as a patient.  I'm being seen so early, bc she's going on vacation. 

    I have some other risk factors, so they took me in as a high risk patient.  I'll take all of the monitoring i can get!

    Glad u liked her.  She seemed to have a pleasant look on the website, and spandy likes her.

    Let me know what you think of her and the practice.  My one gripe with them is that you only see one doctor during your pregnancy (unless they were on vacation or something), but you can get any of the 6 of them depending on when you go into labor.  Obviously if you make it to your scheduled induction/c section, it'll be with "your" doctor but you never know.

    That being said, I went into labor and my doctor (Dr. Sylvestre, Dr. Genc's predecessor) was on call that night so he delivered me.

    I will...my gyn is in there too Bar.ry Scha.ttman, and i wanted to stay there.  I hear u on the gripe though.  Maybe i will be a scheduled c section lol.
