Allow myself to introduce...myself...
Hello TTGP ladies! I just stopped taking the pill at the end of January and am really feeling the side effects of that still (yuck), but am super excited to make a baby and am trying to be hopeful that it won't take too long! As excited as I am, I think DH is even more excited and has been super supportive. I'm 29, H is 32 and we will be celebrating our one year anniversary in Vegas (because we're classy like that) in just under two weeks. 
I figured it would take my body a month or two to regulate since I have been on Seasonale for so many years, so we haven't been trying too hard yet. AF came after 31 days so I'm hoping everything is working, but you never know. If cycle 2 yields a BFN then I'd like to start temping in cycle 3 and will probably need advice from you all on that. I think for this cycle I should be O'ing around our anniversary so I think we'll just have fun and not worry about it yet.

What hotel are you going to in Vegas? I've had family in Vegas for years, so when I go I do less of the strip and more of the surrounding attractions. If you're outdoorsy as well as classy, it's a perfect time of year for a romantic hike in Red Rock Canyon. :-)

We actually haven't booked a hotel yet since I try to hold out for the last minute deals. Last time that backfired though b/c we didn't realize that UFC was in Vegas that weekend and we ended up having to stay at Hooters...which was definitely not classy!
I think we are going to try to get a good deal at the Aria this time though! The hike sounds nice!

It is actually a reference to How I Met Your Mother - the one when Ted met Victoria and they decided not to give each other real names and she went by "Buttercup". H thought this was cute and that I reminded him of that actress and started calling me that.

Finished BC and not preventing since June 2010.
Actively trying for baby #1 since July 2011.
SA completed 5/29/2012. No sperm found.
11/12: Dx: Congenital Bilateral Absense of the Vas Deferens.
Genetic Testing needed as this is a mutation of Cystic Fibrosis.
IVF #1 with ICSI planned for 2013.
