I read a lot saying that the LP will always be the same, yet I see others charts where it seems to vary.
I'm curious b/c before having my daughter is was 12 days long....with a 28 day long cycle . For the last year my period has come every 28-30 days with O pain around cd 16. This is my first cycle charting this time around and things felt different.... I O'd later then I thought but I was sick at the beginning of the cycle and stressed over bad news so I'm sure that could of delayed O.
I get that you can O late but I'm wondering if my period will still show up b/w 28-30 days like it has every month for the last year or will it arrive late this month b/c I O'd later then normal. Can the LP vary a few days? and can you have one month where your LP is short but it be normal the month after?
I want to know b/c if it ends up being short this month I'm wondering if I should start B6 to lengthen in
TIA
Re: What's the real deal with the luteal phase?
Ok, so it can vary a day or so but not much. Thanks!
I'm 7dpo today and tomorrow is cd30 (the longest my cycles have been this past year) so I'm hoping AF doesn't show and give me a short LP.
Mine is also 10-13 days.. no matter when I O it will always be 10-13 days in length. I am also considering taking B6 or B complex.. really not sure what to do since I read conflicting info about it.

Also a July 2013 Mom!
Question with the LP...once I O and am in the LP, I know my temp will be elevated until I get AF or a BFP. If I take a OPK during my LP will it also continue to be positive until I "reset" for the next month? Thanks in advance - learning so much from you ladies!
