Trouble TTC

I knew it was bound to happen.

I had my first "WTF?" comment.

I went to get my progesterone tested at a local lab. When the woman was going over my order sheet she looked at me and said "Your Doctor is Dr. X at X, right?"

"Yes."

"I didn't know there was an RE there. But, I've also never had that problem, and now I don't want any more!"

 

Um... congrats?  Hmm

2/12: 100 mg Clomid + Bravelle last minute+ back to back IUI. BFN
3/12 150mg Clomid + B2B IUI =BFP!! TWINS!

3 IUI's in 2017- BFN
8/17 IUI BFP!!!!!!!!

  • Wow I swear, some people. Would they say that to a cancer patient or someone going through a rough medical issue? No. People seem to think infertility is no big deal, until it touches their lives. Jerks.

    DX: Ovulation Disfunction DH:low volume, but good
    3 clomid cycles (50MG - 150 MG): No Response

  • She's was a douche and a half!  I think I'm at the point that if someone says something like that to me I'd just say "That's an incredibly rude and inconsiderate thing to say to someone dealing with infertility."  Ya know, make them feel like sh!t since they've made you feel that way.

    I hope if someone says something like that to me, I have the confidence to tell them off. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

  • Wow, that's really crappy! I am not at all good at comebacks. I should start practicing some so I am prepared but it's always hard in the moment. I'm sorry you had to experience that!

  • I think some people just think you're dying to know about their lives. Confused Sorry you had to deal with that.
