Hey! I know you guys took a trip a few weeks back to one of the indoor water parks. Which one did you go to again? I know you said you got a good deal for going during the week... did you just book through the website?
We are hoping to plan a little trip sometime in April and I've been researching the indoor waterparks... I know there are several w/ in a couple hours drive from us.
Re: **Mrsoc**
Hi! We went to Lake George Six Flags Indoor Waterpark, it was $109 for a 2 Queen room with 4 waterpark passes. It was great there, but may be quite a drive for you, unless you did 2 nights. It was super nice, really really clean, had 3 restaurants on premises. We are itching to go back, but may try the Niagara Falls one that had a Groupon yesterday. We heard from friends that one is really nice too.
We have also gone to Hope Lake Lodge. This was a bit more pricey, but we also had a 3 room suite and went with 11 people. We had a kitchen which was so nice (at Lake George, we had a fridge and microwave). We went on a weekend, which made it more expensive, but it was still worth it. The park was nice, but had more things for bigger kids, where the Lake George one had a lot for all ages.
Fun vacation with little ones!
oh, thanks! I think we might do this, just because it's so cheap! It doesn't look as big as some of the others, but for Evan it will be perfect!
*Read the fine print on that!! There is a LOT of it!! (the prices are in Canadian and there is an option that doesn't even include the waterpark, etc.)
yeah, there are always lots of restrictions w/ Groupons and those other deal sites. But this one isn't tooo bad. You have to use it by June something and it's only good Sun-Th (which is what we wanted anyways... figure it will be less crowded during the week) The $109 that is advertised is NOT for the waterpark passes, but for $139 you get the passes, a jr suite or king jacuzzi room PLUS a $50 credit to the casino (which we probably won't end up using), $50 credit to the spa (which I'm sure has some sort of restriction, like spending $X amount to use it) and then a $25 credit to the restaurant at the hotel.
It's a pretty good deal, considering Splash Lagoon and Great Wolf were going to over $250. And the Canadian dollar is pretty much the same as ours right now. On the website it says it works out to the same $ in US dollars.
