  I guess I'm confused, what kind of party would you throw for him? Its not like everything you get at the shower isn't just as much for him as it is for you.

  I threw something like this for my friend's husband. I think that the shower is really for us ladies, like my husband and no men are invited to mine. So we had a party that was a football theme, invited all the guys, had tailgate food, drank some beer (near beer for me lol) guys are easy. The guests brought over diaper money and we collected it in a football piggy bank. It worked out well too because my friend is an engineer so most of her friends are guys too and we didn't want to do something frilly. We have a traditional shower planned for her next month with the families. here are some pics from the party:

  

  

  

  

   

  Sorry they're dark... For my husband most of his friends are out of town so we will have a big meet the baby party this summer and do something similar.

  I am not throwing a "Dadchelor" party, but his friends and family are. He is actually having two different ones. One is during one of my showers and will just be pizza and beer. The other is with most of his good friends and they plan to skeet shoot, drink beer and have fun. I am glad they guys want to do something for him before he becomes a Dad. As for a gift, they all are saying bring diapers, which is awesome for us!

  We are almost finished with our house "facelift" and I will be showing it off at my shower (thrown by friends/mom) but how fun for him to have a guys poker night or something to hang out with the bod in our newly finished basement?!

  My hubby will be having a "Diaper Bash" - so we'll buy a keg and have some snacks, and invite his friends over.  Bring a pack of diapers and get a keg cup!

  I'm sure we'll end up with a diaper mountain!
