names to go with daniella?

DH and I are having a really hard time with names bc it needs to work in spanish/english and I don't want any super popular names. I like daniella, but can't figure out what goes with it (not settled on using it as first or middle name). Our last name starts with a G. Would appreciate any input ladies!

Re: names to go with daniella?

  • With it being 3 syllables whether it's in a first or middle name spot I'd suggest a 1 syllable name to go with it.

I'd personally keep Daniella as the first name and pair it with something like Rose, Grace or Faye.

FWIW - my sister has the same spanish/english requirement and she's always mentioned Lilliana for a future child

  • We are having the same issue and may be using this name. If we do her name will be Daniela Carmen

  • Daniella Grace

    Daniella Rayne

    Daniella Alexandria

    Daniella Nicolette

My Girlfriend just names her daughter Taylor Daniella. It is a nice middle name too.

  • I found this website last night and I thought it was really cool.  It lets you pick a name, see it's popularity, names that commonly go with it, and even sibling names that are used with it.  Maybe it'll help.

  • You can never go wrong with Marie. And it sounds good as a first or middle name:

    Marie Daniella

    Daniella Marie

  • I'm naming my baby Daniella and thought I'd go with Daniella Sofia until my sister mentioned she loves the name Sofia for a girl. I had no attachment to it so I figured I'd leave it unused for her. I'm going with Daniella Mabel. Doesn't really flow but Mabel is my moms name and my middle name.
  • I agree, a shorter 1 or 2 syllabel name would go best with a longer first name.
If you want to carry on with the Hispanic theme, might I suggest:

     - Maria
     - Ariel[la]
     - Elena
     - Silvia
     - Belen
     - Luisa

@ Storm172666 - Maybe you could slightly alter the name Mabel to Mabelle - the emphasis in pronunciation is more on the 'belle' than the first syllablel, which I think still honours your Mum, and flows well with Daniella.
