I am so sorry that I don't remember your screen name, but I am looking for a specific poster. There is a mom who posts here sometimes that has had three pregnancies, three placental abruptions and one living child (a little boy I think).
I am two for two as far as pregnancies and abruptions go, and as we consider TTC #3, I have some questions that I would like to ask this mom, if she is so willing. Are you out there? Again, so sorry that I don't know your name.
Re: Abruption moms
I know I'm not the posted you're thinking of, since I'm not super active on this board (feel out of place due to my current pregnancy.....), but happened to open your post.
I've had 2 abruptions. Seth (our firstborn) was a 60% abruption at 14w that had me on bedrest for his entire pregnancy; complications from pre-e and IUGR had him coming at a gest age of 33w.
Our second abruption resulted in the stillbirth of our son Duncan at 25w.
I have gone on to have a successful pregnancy with our daughter Erin (though bedrest and Lovenox and a thousand other meds were needed), and I'm currently entering the third tri with this pregnancy, so far with just the Lovenox (no other meds or bedrest).
If you want to chat, in addition to the mom you're actually looking for, my email is mrsmsg@hotmail.com. I'd be happy to offer up any info I can.
