New to Atlanta - Hi!

Hello all!  My husband and I just moved to the Atlanta area from Ohio.  We will most likely be living in the Johns Creek area so just looking for some recs on pediatricians, OBs, and things to do around this area with a toddler (our daughter will be 2 in April).  I'm now a SAHM so any suggestions on fun activites would be greatly apprecaited!  Thanks!!

    Welcome to the South!  Our daughters are almost the same age, mine will be two in March.  We recently took her out of daycare and either DH or myself are with her everyday so we've been busy finding activities to keep her entertained.  Our favorite is the zoo (parking is free, they have a petting zoo and a playground, plus she LOVES animals).  I think there's a Catch Air in Johns Creek and everyone I know raves about them, we keep meaning to go to the one near us but haven't yet.  We also do library storytime and she goes to PMO at a local church once a week.  You may want to sign up for your local Macaroni Kids newsletter, they have lots of activities and freebies listed each week.

    Welcome! I agree with the zoo. it's the best meembership in town with free parking, big playground, and you can bring your own food/drinks into the zoo.

    OBs - I use Atlanta Women Specialists that is located near Northside Hospital. Dr. Angus, Dr. Dawson, and Dr. Jeffers are my favorite 3 in the practice but Dr. Johnson did both my c/s and hopefully will do this 3rd.

    Welcome, I love the name Liliana.  My DD is Lilyana. ;)

    My favorite pizza place is in johns creeek/alpharetta.  It's called Pepperoni's and is on state bridge.

    hi and welcome! I'm in Alpharetta on the Johns Creek side. We use Johns Creek Pediatrics and I use Suburban Women's Specialists...they deliver at Emory Johns Creek and I think they are wonderful. Lots of things to do around here but I agree about the zoo - we loved being member this past year and plan to renew our membership.
