1. Do you have a birthday party theme planned for your little one? If so, how far away is the birthday? I have Ella's theme planned - she is having a Fancy Nancy party. Her birthday is in July. I haven't even thought about a theme for Thea's.
2. Who has the better wardrobe, you or the kiddo(s)? The kids by far.
3. How often do you (or are planning to) have professional photo's taken? I used to be so good about this, but have really slid downhill. Luke is the only one with framed photo's on the wall. :P
4. Are you purging baby things, or saving for down the road? Saving... hoping we go for baby #4. If that doesn't happen, I might save one or two things, and as they grow, I will save a toy here or there for future grandkids. But, other then that, I will purge.
5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love? I originally thought those little waterproof lap pads were silly. Now, I love them! I use them on the changing pad, and they are great for catching all kinds of "oops" and then I don't have to change the whole pad.
6. If you have a pinterest account, how many boards are dedicated to things you like vs things for your kids? Boards of things I like just barely outnumber boards of things for the kids.
7. Reading anything good? Nope, but I want to be...
8. How about a favorite childrens book? So many, but currently Ella is in a Fancy Nancy and princess kick. The Fancy Nancy books are adorable, and we have read quite a few princess stories where the princess is the one who is smart and takes care of herself, rather then waiting to be rescued by a knight. My favorite one so far is The Paper Bag Princess, but I also like Princess Pizza.
9. What is your preferred way to listen to music? I am in a bit of a music void right now. When I do listen to music, it's usually the music channel on tv, or in the car.
10. Do you have music for your kids, or do they enjoy whatever you listen too?They listen to whatever I am listening to. I really should get some music for them, it's just hard without having means to play it.Starting the week off with a little poll...

2. Who has the better wardrobe, you or the kiddo(s)? Definately him - by a long shot. Shoes, hats, the whole package. Me, I'm lucky if my clothes are clean and don't fall down.
3. How often do you (or are planning to) have professional photo's taken? As often as we can afford it...we are already behind what I would like. We had newborn pictures taken. He's 7 months now. I'm thinking 9 month photos and then at a year...we'll see after that.

I'm torn - I'm not sure sure we're done but I have a friend with a family member in need (pregnant by one of her "customers") and I want to hand down our clothes to her because my friend (her aunt) had been generous to us but it's hard to be generous without judging this girl.
5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love? hats. now I can't have enough. but he leaves them on and they're so friggin' cute!

4. Are you purging baby things, or saving for down the road? We purged only because we moved 300 miles from a larger house. Then to only end up getting pregnant 6 months later...we weren't trying though.
5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love? The Video monitor. I love that thing.
6. If you have a pinterest account, how many boards are dedicated to things you like vs things for your kids? I have 2 boards for the "kids". The rest are for myself. I think I have like 20 boards or something.

8. How about a favorite childrens book? "When the leaf blew in" I LOVE LOVE the illustrations in that book.

5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love? I honestly can't think of anything right now. I never got a wipes warmer or bottle warmer (both of which I think are ridiculous).
6. If you have a pinterest account, how many boards are dedicated to things you like vs things for your kids? I think I have about 20 boards and only 3 or 4 are dedicated to kid stuff.
7. Reading anything good? Tina Fey's "Bossypants"
8. How about a favorite children's book? From when I was a kid? Strega Nona and Caps For Sale were big time faces.
9. What is your preferred way to listen to music? DH has set up our main stereo system using AirPlay and streaming from my computer to the living room, dining room, and deck. Other than the fact that the connection can be crappy if we're having network trouble, t's pretty sweet.
10. Do you have music for your kids, or do they enjoy whatever you listen too? I think we have one Caspar Babypants album, but that's it. Lila's favorite bands are Journey and Foster the People. And she loves Moves Like Jagger and Single Ladies. She's definitely my kid.

4. Are you purging baby things, or saving for down the road? Purging as we use them up, passing off to SIL. Only saving absolute favorite toys fro visiting friends with younger kids, and a few mementos.
5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love? Cuisinart Hand Mixer Blender...to make baby food, but now I use for so many things!

7. Reading anything good? 11/22/63 - taking me too long but good so far!

When Q ws little it was the microwave bottle sterilizer. After getting thrush it was a god-send.

when I was older I loved Charlie and the choc factory, Call of the wild, A wrinkle in time, Cheaper by the dozen... the list goes on.

3. How often do you (or are planning to) have professional photo's taken?Every year on their birthdays, so that's twice a year. It's really nice having them almost exactly six months apart.
4. Are you purging baby things, or saving for down the road?Both! I purge and save and hand down and sell. I wish I would have kept a few more junkie onesies now that we're doing solids. Nice clothes just don't survive avocados.
5. What's one thing that you thought was a ridiculous baby item and you now love?Video monitor. What was I thinking!?! I can see if she's rolled over too far and smooshed her noggin up against the crib, or as another Bumpie discovered, is playing with her poo.
6. If you have a pinterest account, how many boards are dedicated to things you like vs things for your kids?Most of them are for me, but I have two for the kids. Sort of a miscellaneous one called Future Projects...it's just a catch all for stuff I'd like to do in the future. The other is called Birthday Parties and I pin everything for parties. It's my most popular board.
7. Reading anything good?Baby-led weaning. Not exactly a thriller, but I found it very educational
