FP zoo talkers psa

I dont' know if this is a TOS violation or not but I did want to pass it along. I was able to find the zoo talker set on ebay for 30 bucks (shipping and handeling included), the person I ordered from still had 8 sets left. I haven't been able to find it any cheaper else where. I got it today and it was brand new and as described.

So far LO isn't all that intersted, but I love it LOL. I'm hoping she becomes more interested with age because I've bought her just about every set there is and am saving them for future birthdays/holidays.

::sigh:: I was hoping you might have found some of the individual animals. Walmart had tons of them, about 7 different ones, around the holidays til they sold out, at 2.97 each. I finally found three, first time since then, at Toys r Us this weekend, at 4.97 each. Thats a bit much per animal but I got them since I dont know when I will see them again. Even the employee there was telling me they dont carry them anymore.

DD LOVES the zoo talkers set. The individual animals are hard to find though, my mom is a super shopper and I sent her on a mission. Whatever you do, don't buy them on amazon, they're way overpriced, like $12 per animal!

I'm finding that too. I found one orangatang at Tagert and didn't buy it, now I wish I did because its the ONLY one I've foud. I wonder if they are phasing them out since they have the new animal mat that includes an animal for each letter? I'm hoping not but I don't know.

I wanted to get some extras to stick in her Easter basked but I guess we will see...

My mom found them all but it was quite an effort, she said they weren't always where you would expect them to be and she accumulated them from various stores. I've seen them at BRU also.

I say that if we find the animals at a reasonable price, we get two of each, and then post on here that we have them. We might be able to trade or reimburse or something. (as in, we have the seal, the penguin, and the ostrich, but I want more so if you find them message me and I will gladly pay you for it)

Try the seasonal section at Target for the animals. I don't knwo if they'll have then for Easter, but they had them at Christmas in with all the cheap stocking stuffer toys. At my store they were all the way on the bottom. Between Target and Walmart I got all (I think) of the animals at Christmas.

ETA: It looks like the fisher price website is finally scheduled to get more back in starting late April/early May. They've been sold out there since probably Thanksgiving!

and yes! If I find any more I'll pick up 2 and post them on here, and maybe that way we can swap around. If no one on here takes them I can always put them on amazon or something.

I also saw that the site will be having them back soon, which hopefully means the store will as well. With shipping and handeling its 8.99 for one animal off fp.com so hopefully I'll catch one of their sales or find them locally.

Yeah, with shipping its usually too much for a small toy, so I prefer to shop locally whenever I can rather than order online. I will look out here for some too, if no one wants them then I can always give them to C's cousins or something.
