Lo (4.5 months old) rubs his eyes like crazy when he is tired to where it makes his eyes so red. We tried putting him in his crib unswaddled the other night and he just kept rubbing his eyes. He sleeps soooo much better on his belly (naps only). I wish I could put him on his belly at night, sigh...any other LO's rub their eyes???

That is funny bc he will rub his face on my chest if getting sleepy to fight it too. he also has a rash on forehead and one cheek. Im still not quite sure what the rash is from. it has been there several weeks. Some days it looks better than others.
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!

I don't take one single minute for granted.
I think it's just dry skin because whenever I put lotion on it, it'll go away. Depending on how rough it looks, I'll use either Aquaphor or Johnson's, sometimes both.

My son started rolling in his sleep of his own volition at around 3.5 months. He now sleeps on his tummy for 95% of his nap and nighttime sleep. Our pedi confirmed that once they can roll on their own, leave them be.
As for the eye rubbing, he does the same thing and is also a master sleep fighter. It's his biggest sign that he needs some sleep - as for whether we can get him to actually go to sleep is another issue altogether.
