First, I want to thank you all for your thoughtful comments on the facebook thread the other day. I watched from the sidelines, but it was an interesting discussion. FWIW, I definitely understand the desire to have a little corner of the internet all to yourself... I used to have such a place myself (*ahem* ).
Second, S friended me! I was so excited I took a screenshot of the notification message, lol.
Third, I have to laugh because S commandeered my computer no less than 4 times yesterday when I was on facebook so she could click around my facebook account and see who I'm friends with, who had sent me messages, etc. HILARIOUS! (As turnabout is fair play, S let me scroll through her ex-wife's page to see what S had posted there.)

We have one of those too.
Us too, although ours is an ex-husband. But C knows the only thing he and I talk about on Facebook is how our cats are doing.

True, I find C's statement quite hilarious. Though we did have a Holy Union, C never considered her my "wife" per se. Also, there was this huge thing about an annulment (i.e. not having to sign a Church document ending our relationship) versus documenting the end of the relationship with the Church.
As far as baggage goes, yes, I try my best not to give out too much information that I know would hurt her. It wasn't until C was pregnant that I told her I was married. She knew I was in a relationship, but did not know I had married. She even asked me why I found it necessary to tell her...then didn't talk to me for 3 years.
ARGH FACEBOOK (dirty laundry is now splattered all over the place...LOL!)!
