CD Trial Programs

Some of you have been so helpful in giving me some great cd starter info. I'm considering either Jillian's drawers or Sunshine DIapers trial program.

1. If you have any other trial program suggestions, please share!

2. I'm afraid to get the newborn cause my family tends to have big babies. My mom had 3 10 lbers and I was one of them...her smallest babie was 8 lbs, 6 oz. The newborn sizes say 6-9 lbs and they may be too small right away. ??? any advice?

We did the Jillian's Newborn trial and our son was 8 lbs 7 oz at birth. ?Now he's a little over 10 lbs (4 weeks) and everything we kept from the trial (all we didnt keep were the BGs) still fits so I'd still go with the newborn trial because at the very least it'll tell you whether those sizes are too small, just right or whatever and then you can either send them back and get the right sizes or keep what was sent. ?Know what I mean?

My family has big babies too, I was 9.5 lbs at birth and DH was 9. DS was 6lbs3oz, so anything can happen :-) If they don't fit you have plenty of time to send them back. I find the size guides on those to be inaccurate anyway. I have a preemie imse-vimse cover from Jillians that is 4-6 lbs and DS still has plenty of room in it at 8 lbs. He is also wearing xs and s Thirsties covers, with plenty left to go.

We did the Jillian's Drawers trial, but DD was older (about 3 months). I'd actually contact them about what size to get. Their customer service is excellent, and they might have some expertise about big babies and appropriate sizing.
