I'm curious. How much has your breast size/rib cage size changed since becoming pregnant? I'm only 23 weeks and I went to a 32B to a 38D. My rib cage has expanded so much, it's crazy.
I've gone up about 2 cup sizes and changed from a 32 band to a 34, just because I wanted a little more room to breath... But they seem much bigger than that to me!
I've gone up almost two cups sizes. I was a 36C, currently really filling out my 36D's, but the 36DD's are still a little too big. My rib cage hasn't expanded yet, I have a wide rib cage to begin with.
I had a really tiny rib cage and I have a super short torso. I was told that my rib cage had to expand that much for my organs to move up. I'm really 37 inches but since they don't make that size I'm sticking with the 38. I was also told that my rib cage is finished expanding and won't expand any further, thank goodness! It's wild.
I'm just about to move up a band and cup size. I usually go up a band+ size and 1-2 cup sizes during pregnancy. Then my boobs really explode when my milk comes in and my cup size goes up another 1-2 sizes. I hate it, hate it, hate it. I was SO enjoying having a "small" cup size again (C/D).

I hear you. I sometimes used to wish I had bigger breasts but now I wish I had my perfect 32Bs. They were full Bs and perky. Also, I'm only 23 weeks and I'm told they will probably even grow another cup size. I'm just waiting for the stretch marks. I'm scared to see what happens after the baby. I feel it in my bones that my breasts will be ruined but that's what happens I suppose.
I am relieved to have stumbled upon this post. I have been silently ashamed (shocked) at my transformation from 32DD to 38D. Let me be honest though, I have a narrow torso and have breast implants but I cannot believe the increase from 32 to 38! The specialty store I went to was great though, the woman who helped fit me for new bras said that 90% of the time the expanding of the rib cage will go back to prepregnancy size after delivery.
Nice to know I am not alone.

I know, it's pretty insane what our bodies can do. I was told too that once I have my baby and everything moves back into place that my ribs will as well.
Good to hear the rib cage can expand as well...i'm starting to get a little uncomfortable in my current band size and was starting to get upset. I had a 'friend' tell me last week that if you need to go up in bra sizes, it's just because your back is getting fat. Not very nice at all

Oh my goodness, that's so not true and that wasn't very sensitve of your friend to say. I don't have any back fat and it is strictly my ribs that have expanded to accomodate my organs which have moved up.
I went from a 34B to 36C during my first trimester (~ 12 weeks) and am still the same at 19 weeks. I can't believe I'll be hitting D territory before this is all over!
When I measure myself, it says I should wear a 32B bra, but when I actually try them on 36C is what fits the best. However, I was formerly wearing a 34B pre-pregnancy. I can't wait to go up even more, I think it is fun watching my body change. Thus far anyway, I just hope I don't end up with a lot of swelling in the face or other areas!
my first pregnancy i went from a 32C to a 36C/D (depending on the bra.) i lost all 50 lbs of pregnancy weight + 7lbs and settled into a 34 - never got back to 32.
however, i only stopped BF about a month ago, and my cup size now is barely filling out the C, even with pregnancy. not sure if it's just gravity or if they'll eventually catch up. i miss my perky 32Cs.

I kind of feel guilty saying this but I hate watching my body change. I wish I enjoyed it. I'm so used to being a small person in every way and now I feel like my body has been hijacked, I literally feel like I'm in another person's body. Am I bad for hating this?
