Pooping question

My baby boy is 7 weeks old. He was pooping fine and then the last few days he isn't it took him all day sat. To poop and he exploded and now Monday morning he still hasn't gone. He didn't poop on Sunday. Any suggestions?

    It's normal as baby gets older for their BM to spread out to once every few days.  It sounds like you LO has reached that point.  It never hurts to check with your pediatrician if you're concerned, but it sounds right on track to me.

    Sounds just like DD2 at that stage. During those 2 weeks I had to change her diaper in the middle of a poop to keep it from exploding up her back and all over her.

    Pedi told us that this is to be expected at his 1 mo appointment.  Sounds normal.
