Yes. I am a strong believer in acu. I started in July, just two weeks before my failed ER for my IVF. Obviously I started too late for the acu to have made any difference there. We decided to give it a full 3 months before IVF #2. I went 2x a week for 3 months and got an unexpected BFP in October. Unfortunately, I lost that baby at just over 7 weeks. Went back into acu full force, and was gearing up for IVF #2 again next month, when I discovered I was pregnant. I definitely feel like acu has been the major difference that has helped me. My cycles used to be 20-22 days, with O around day 10-12. Lately I've had 27-28 days cycles with O, usually at Day 14. HUGE difference for me. GL to you!

Yes, absolutely I found it useful. For me, acupuncture was a time to relax, clear my mind, and stop being so anxious about infertility. Although it didn't help me get pregnant on our iui cycles, I do think it brought my stress levels down tremendously during our successful ivf. I continue it now for nausea and to help me quiet my anxious PAIF mind!

Yes, absolutely. It doesn't work for everyone, but I feel like it made a difference for me. I combined weekly acupuncture with daily fertility yoga (Restoring Fertility dvd available on Amazon) and that was the only thing I really did differently in the two months leading up to my BFP (I did it in anticipation of IVF, but we ended up getting a surprise BFP the last month trying on our own).
Acu and herbs did not get me pregnant on my own, but who is to say that doing them in the months leading up to my IVF did not help? I needed it to maintain my sanity and I still do go every 2 weeks. I was going every two weeks for months leading up to my IVF, then during my cycle, I wasn't taking herbs but my acu schedule became more frequent and timed with certain events.
I love acupuncture! I didn't get pregnant with it along (we did IVF) but if my age were not a factor in IF, I would have given acu a chance on its own. Started acu in May and IVF was done in January with a session immediately before and after ET at the RE clinic. It has helped me relax so much!
Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
