Cloth Diapering

Just Simply Baby diapers?

I'm looking to get into cloth diapering (DH finally agreed to let me try it out, yay!) and I found this site: https://www.justsimplybaby.com .  I'm just wondering if any of you have tried the diapers by Just Simply Baby and what you thought of them.  They seem pretty nice and very affordable, but I have no experience with cloth diapers so I'm not sure.  Thanks!

Re: Just Simply Baby diapers?

  • Those look exactly like the diapers you can get on ebay for 5. I could be wrong though.

  • For that price, I would try Kawaii diapers. You can buy them on KellysCloset.com or TheLuvyourbaby.com

With Kawaiis you'll find a lot of ladies on here with experience with them!

  • I just responded the this question when it was asked yesterday.

    >> Ok.  I've never personally tried them.  However, a fellow local board bumpie has.  She is new to CD and loves them.  Then again, she's never tried anything else, to my knowledge.  She's saving up money to buy an entire stash of them.  The owner actually lives fairly close to me, and I'm considering going and taking a look.  The fabrics are mostly identical to Kawaii, and the diapers look and sound very similar.  On her site, she addresses that by saying that they are NOT Kawaii, but that she has a manufacturer overseas that she uses.  She also says that she designs the diapers to her specifications and that they aren't just like Kawaii.  They ARE pretty cheap, so it might be worth a try.  I'm not a big Kawaii fan, so I've been holding out.

  • I use them!  I bought a couple to try at night and liked them enough to buy 4 more.  I'm struggling with side leaks (see my post above), but had the same issue with my BG 4.0s, too.  LO is a side sleeper and I think that's causing the problem  A lay in soaker seems to help, so I'm trying that for now.

Overall, the JSB dipes seem well made, they are very affordable, and the microfiber inserts included (2) are generously sized.  The prints aren't all winners - no cute Goodmama look-alikes - but I found a few I liked.  I've not tried the Kawaiis, so I can't compare.  But for $11 or $12 you can try a JSB, which is a reasonable investment compared to other brands.  And shipping is very fast.

  • I got the trial thing... 2 dipes, a wet bag, and a trial of RNG.

The wetbag was used (which I didn't see that disclosed anywhere) but I don't really care :) It had what looked like a mold spot on it (eww) but I washed it once and that was gone.

I have only used one of the diapers, and didn't have ANY problems with it. I used it during the day and it was equivalent to my BG 3.0, except a little higher rise.

I haven't used them for long periods of time, so I don't want to rave on about them and then someone have a sucky experience. I just know that they have worked for me thus far, and if they are in your price range and you find a cute print you like, try it!

     HTH!

Those look the same as ebay diapers you can get for $3. I'd rather purchase from Just Simply Baby when I know I can return it if I want to.

I sell the same diapers for $8.95 (shipping included) each. I started selling on eBay, so you can view my buyer's feedback. Also, all of my sales profits are donated to World Vision International. Here are all of my links, if anyone is interested :

I am also a cloth diapering mom (of 2) and use the same type of diapers on my children that I sell...and I absolutely love them! I do recommend using two inserts (especially for an older baby) and a bamboo or hemp insert for night time. Personally, I use the Thirsties hemp one for night...they are awesome!
