I want to make Eco Friendly products gift basket for my MIL for Christmas. What are some good products? I am also thinking about some homemade soy candles from Etsy. Also does anyone know a good Etsy seller for the reusuable grocery bags or where else to get cute ones?
Re: Eco Friendly Products for X-mas Gifts
I did something like this for my Mum.
I bought a jute bag from a shop we have here called "Trade Aid" That buys from marginalised communities for fair prices, and supports suppliers that have fair employment.
I put it in organic, local wine, organic and fair trade: coffee, tea, chocolate and soaps.
It was easy, not too expensive and didn't add clutter to My Mum's house as she consumed what was in it and she uses the bag for her groceries.?
So maybe something along those lines?
I think it's a good idea for the "basket" to be somehting useful rather than something that becomes clutter.
If you google ethical gifts, or organic gifts or sustainable gifts you should come up with lots of ideas.
You could pick a theme like food, or bathroom or kitchen or garden depending on what your MIL's into and then fill the basket accordingly.
?I found that once I started looking there wee hepas of local comapnies making sustainable products.

I have been making my own grocery bags using this pattern:

andI got some wonderful produce bags on etsy from : limabeanhome
I find that they keep my veggies fresher longer b/c they breath and don't get all wet and mushy inside.
For my sister, I am going to give her some samples of crunchyclean, a wool dryer ball, and some produce bags (i may craft more items before x-mas) and put it in one of the grocery bags.
