I love being pregnant!

So the physical symptoms of being pregnant are not so fun. I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have a good deal of m/s primarily in the evenenings. I also have heartburn throughout the majority of the day and let's not mention serious constipation. In addition, I can't do anything physical like get groceries or do housework b/c I feel lightheaded and like I'm going to pass out.  I've been feeling pretty crummy since I got a BFP test 4 weeks ago but here's the upside. My DH has been the nicest, most caring person lately. Where did he come from?!  I love the TLC he's giving me!  Today I nearly chewed him out for using decreaser to clean the glass and mirrors in the house instead of windex. What did he do?  He washed my car!  I'm in no way taking advantage of it but I am enjoying this part very much. We've been together 9 years and this is the sweetest and most caring he's been since we first started dating. I love being pregnant!

  • LOL! It's awesome DH is being so sweet. My DH was pretty amazing last pregnancy too. This time he's trying, but we do have a 3 year old he's keeping tabs on as well as managing my demands. I'm hoping once I can start feeling better it'll get better. Last pregnancy was dreamy (despite me having at least mild m/s nearly the entire time). DH and I were so close and affectionate. I've never felt so deeply connected to him than I did then. Hope it's that wonderful for you too!

  • That's so sweet of him! You're going to have one pampered pregnancy since he's starting all the sweetness in 1st tri. Hopefully your symptoms lighten up in 2nd tri so you feel better. 1st tri to 2nd tri was such a major difference for me with DS. I was waaay less angry/picky/crazy/whatever once I hit 12-13 weeks. Btw, don't worry about the hater, your H sounds like he'd definitely help out with the baby when the time comes :)

This is me too, except we have a 2-year-old. My DH always got gas for me, cooked for me, let me be a total beotch to him (and understood *most* of the time), would get snacks for me in the middle of the night. It was great. This time...it's a little different because our 2-year-old is, of course, very demanding.

To the OP, that's very sweet of your husband. Just make sure you let him know how much you appreciate it! :)
