13 Week Appt.

Had my 13 week appt with my OB yesterday.

I've been pretty upfront since I had DS that I wanted a vbac next time around. So, we got to sit down and talk about it yesterday. She's 100% supportive. Actually, all the doctors in the practice are very supportive...she said that they want to do what the Mom wants...and if that is vbac, definitely!

I'm nervous my body won't do what it is supposed to do when the time comes, but I've still got a long way to go.

I love reading all the birth stories on this board and also hearing the concerns and advice....it is very helpful.

If you are thinking it...I'm willing to bet there are a bunch of lurkers out there wondering it too. =)

    That's great news!  Having a supportive provider - without lots of crazy rules is the first and maybe most important step.

    I definitely have found great support on this board too.  My biggest fear is not going into labor or having any dilation by 41weeks.  So, you'll all be hearing me start whining about 15 weeks from now.

    Glad you had a good appointment. I also worry still about my body being able to "perform" as I was induced with DS and that is not an option where I am delivering since im a VBAC.
