2.5 year old with cold won't eat

My 2.5 year old has had a cold/cough for the past 5 days.   She has not eaten anything since she has been sick.   I took her to the doctor yesterday and he said as long as she was drinking she was ok.   She is drinking but not enough.    Has anyone else's LO gone this long without eating while they have been sick?

    When DD was sick the pedi said as long as there are liquidsthey are not too worried about eating.  Liquids which include popsicles, shaved ice, ice cream, jello, pudding, broth, juice, gatorade (DD will drink the fruit punch) that she would be okay.  Would your LO take any of these?  DD went almost a week without eating a full meal, she would snack through the day.

     

    Yeah, I would try all of these, plus applesauce and maybe smoothies. I hope your LO is better soon!
