Need swaddle blanket recommendations

Trying to find large, square swaddling blankets (preferably organic) for DD#2. Anyone know of a good place (or fabric seller)?

The normal receiving blankets are all too small (but the right thickness) and we never did like the fleece swaddlers. We had one blanket we liked size-wise last time, but it was almost too elastic and we couldn't really get a snug fit when we wrapped.

  • I think a lot of people like Aden and Anais swaddle blankets.  I personally use the Halo sleep sacks swaddle...just because they carry less risk of SIDS than the regular swaddle wrap.

  • I loved the Aiden and Anais muslin swaddling blankets.  They make organic cotton muslin and bamboo varieties now, too.  I've been told that the bamboo ones are a little more slippery than the cotton, so I'd probably avoid them.

  • That was it! Aiden and Anais!

Someone had recommended that...but for the life of me I couldn't remember the name. Thank you!

  • We got a few from Bambino Land. They are organic & super nice. Also - really cute! GL on your search.

  • I'd check Target for the A & A blankets. They are MUCH less expensive there than what I've seen in the local cloth diaper store or boutiques. We love our blankets! :)

  • I love Aden and Anais as well. This year, I'm having a summer baby so I think they will be perfect. I have some organic swaddlemes from V still that were nice, too.
