A few quick questions, simple I hope

Number of diapers: I'm planning to wash EOD. I have 37 newborn diapers and 23 OS diapers. If these all work well for us is this enough or do I need more larger diapers?

Cheap PFs: I received 20 cheap Gerber PFs at my shower last weekend. Has anyone used them to stuff pockets? I know they make great burp cloths, but what about extra absorbancy for pockets?

Dryer Balls: I know this has been asked a billion times, but how many do you generally use for one load of dipes?

I don't know anything about the newborn diapers because I have never CD a newborn, but 23 OS diapers should be plenty to wash EOD once your baby gets a little older.

oh yeah i think you have plenty! i only have 23 total in my regular rotation and i have never used a gerber prefold in a diaper, but i got LOTS of use out of them for spit up and stuff the first few months.

and i hear that 4 dryer balls is the magic number.. which is what i go with!

I think that the number of diapers is perfect for planning to wash every other day. I don't have any experience with prefolds myself, but from what I've read here, Gerber prefolds don't absorb very well.
