that frightened me slightly, but theres nothing I could do about it anyways.
After my LMP, but prior to my BFP, somewhere around 1 1/2 to 2 weeks pregnant I had an x-ray done. They covered up my belly area with that heavy blanket, and they did ask if I was pregnant, but DH and I had only DTD once, and it was well before my O date (about 5-6 days) so I thought I was safe saying "no."
All the u/s tests, bloodwork have come back normal, but I know that if theres anything wrong because of the x-ray I won't know til he's born.
Am I over-thinking? (Quite possibly.)
Re: I had a thought as I was falling asleep last night...
I spoke to my doctor about x-rays a few years ago and he said that they use so much less radiation now than they used to so it's not that much of a concern anymore for pregnancy. They still ask because they would like to avoid it if possible just to be safe, but most likely there isn't anyting to worry about.
Not so long ago in the 70s they used x-rays instead of ultrasounds when needed. It wasn't safe, but if all those babies survived to live long and healthy lives then I'm sure you'll be ok.
Plus, I doubt most things you might have done to your body that early would have little to no effect.
