postpartum sex Q ;) (TMI for sure.)

Flame me as you will, but I think we can all agree I had a rough time with my last bit of pregnancy/ C section. I'm recovering amazingly since I got the right doctors and needed a release! lol So, even though I've got another 4 weeks to go, SO and I decided to attempt some foreplay this morning (hey, its not sex technically.. lol) and holy wow-- can I just say that I'm tighter than I was when I lost my Vcard?? His fingers barely fit! Any pointers from 2+ moms, or anyone who delivered early on how to ease into this? I expected it to hurt if I delivered vaginally, but being that my incision feels fine I thought we'd be alright in this area! I'm seriously terrified for the day we actually do the deed! *naive FTM here, clearly*

any pointers would be much appreciated :)

    No experience since I'm also a FTM but when I do get the courage to let DH anywhere near my lady parts a LOT of lube will be used.

    No advice here either but I just wanted to say you are brave!!! SO has not been allowed anywhere near me yet. I have sort of thought about it a couple time recently but I am just so terrified of it at the same time.

    haha not brave, just naive! I was so excited to finally have my sex drive back, I thought as long as incision didnt hurt Id be good to go. uhhhh... negative, ghost rider. I had no IDEA it'd go back so tight! We had to stop after about 10 minutes. lol

    Def be careful since your uterus is an open wound right now, don't want to introduce infection. Some docs clear patients for sex at 4 weeks PP. 

    My only advice is LUBE! Lol. I was tight and dryyy. If it hurt too bad, then we stopped and tried another day. It didn't take me too long for it to get back to feeling normal.

       This. Exactly! :) As soon as our first daughter was born, my sex drive came back 1000 fold. It sucked waiting, but in the end, it was SOOO worth it! Wink And yes, it did feel like I was losing my virginity all over again.

    LOL! You are my hero. I cried a few nights back because I wanted DH so badly! I had a c-section too and was wondering why we couldn't go at it. I guess I see from pp why it would be a bad idea.

    I am counting the days until I cleared for sex! I feel like my drive is at its highest (probably because it's someone telling me I can't do something lol). FI brings it up almost everyday and we cannot wait until my 6 week appt. especially because I feel like my incision has healed so well and I have a ton of energy. I will definitely take the lube advice!

    lots and lots of lube!  Your hormones dry you up...there isnt much you can do about the pain and tightness...just go slowly!!

    I'm late to this post, but have to reply since no one mentioned the other thing that is just as important as lube. WINE!  :)  Lubrication and relaxation. Good luck!

    This was my thought!! Def not the pain I expected at all lol SO's thoery is that everythings been contracting down to its normal size, thats no exception and also that we havent had sex in so long anyways, it was like a perfect lady-parts storm. Who knows! I thought we were in the clear :( Stupid sex drive coming back.... lol

    I'm one week PP and just like with my son my drive is through the roof! I will actually admit.. with my son I had a nipple stim big O.. the day I came home from the hospital ha ha! It was "mostly" accidental :) DH and I are finally getting to the point we have the energy to make out.. but man last night just getting turned on I could tell how tight things were down there! And I had a c-section as well. It will just take time to not be so tight down there.. just like your first time. :) Just use lots of lube and go slow.. DH will love the tightness though!
