If you're doing swim lessons, do you bring some kind of float or floaties for baby? Sorry if this is a dumb question! We are thinking of signing up for lessons soon!

I used to teach swimming lesson and all the places I worked wouldn't allow them. My guess I that most places just have you hold your LO. Just bring a swim diaper, a suit, towel and some warm clothes for after!

This. Every place I taught lessons also did not allow them either.
My place provides lots of toy ducks, water toys, balls, and the foam pool noodles. They take the little ones and tie the noodles into a knot and insert them into it. Then, you sort of waltz around the pool with your baby floating in a noodle on their tummy--it's supposed to encourage them to start kicking their legs one day.

Nope, no floats required.
