HELP!
My husband and I are having a hard time picking out a name for our baby girl. The only name we both like is Ali (or Allie) Elizabeth. What do you think of that name and spellings? I like really girly, sweet names that aren't too common and my husband doesn't like anything that is too unusual or sounds made up. Please, give me your opinions and/or other name suggestions along those lines. Thank you so much!
Re: Thoughts on girl name
I would absolutely not go with Ali.
You're going to have people pronouncing it like Muhammad Ali.
Allie Elizabeth is pretty, but I don't love giving "nickname" first names. Allie isn't a very professional-sounding name for a resume, you know? Cutesy for a baby, not for a woman. But that's just my opinion
Also - what is your 1 year old's name? That will help us to guess a bit more re: your taste.
And I definitely prefer Allie.
