Car Seat Recommendations Please

So we put the base for our infant seat that was in my van in my sitters van.  Instead of getting our fourth base I am just wanting a regular car seat for DS.  I do not take the infant seat our very often when we go places.  So any recommendations I would appreciate. I was thinking of the Safety First Air 65.  We currently have the infant seat and I love how supported he seems in it, but I have also heard very good things about the Evenflow Triumph Elite.  I did find a good deal on a Bitax, $159 on BRU website.  But I hate that I can't use a cupon on it.

Re: Car Seat Recommendations Please

  • I love our Sunshine (now Diono) Radians XTSL. Amazing car seats! The boys love that they're memory foam padding (so super comfy), they're RF to 45lbs and FF to 80lbs. Plus, they're height extendable (great because the boys are tall). We also have Cosco Sceneras in our Scion. Not as comfy, not as easy to use/install. However, the Radians are expensive (we paid ~$240 each on Walmart.com) while the Sceneras are $40 each (great as a second pair in our second car).

  • I have the Graco My Ride 65.  Consumer Reports recommended it, so that's why I picked it.  Had it for a week, so far so good.  Lo seems to like the cup holders.
