moms group? military or non?

Hey ladies, i'm not new to this area but i am in search of possibly a play group or something thats around. most everyone i know lives on the VA Beach side of the water, but i never go over there... i mean its been MONTHS since ihave.  So i'm in search of a group possibly on the hampton/newport news side of teh water.  I dont care if its military associated or church or what not. I just really need to get out there and make some new friends and a new support system.  We have a church we attend over here but its so large i've never spoken to anyone there.

    Hi there,

    I belong to a facebook group called Williamsburg Mothering.  It is a great supportive group.  there are weekly walks and often playdates.  Plus, its associated with Birth Matters Williamsburg. There are monthly meetings with different mommy topics.

    they are both really great, and you don't have to live in WB to be a part.

    Have you found anything? I just moved to Fort eustis on 2-22 and I'm 20 weeks pregnant. I'd like to meet some people too before I go stir crazy in this house.
