How do you wash stuffed animals?

Jack is obsessed with Mickey Mouse, obsessed! He's recently started sleeping with one and wanting one in the car among other places. Luckily he's not attached to just one stuffed Mickey so we have several but they are starting to get kinda icky.

Do I just wash them normally with a load of darks? Wash on delicate? What about drying them?

    I put them in a garment bag and wash with my delicate load (which is usually mostly darks/reds). I let them air dry.

    I wash them w/ towels and dry them too.

    If it is a soft/plushy stuffed animal, I usually tie it in a pillow case and wash/dry it with our sheets/towels.  If it is a firm/rigid stuffed animal, I'll wash it with my delicates and let it air dry.

    I wash in a pillowcase on delicate and dry on low, mostly because I am paranoid of something happening to V's most favorite monkey.
