IUI 8 days ago having minor cramping

I had a n IUI 8 days ago, and has of last night I have been experiencing cramping. Nothing too awful, but enough to bother me. I am worried that my period is coming early and feeling very discouraged. I was wondering if this has happened to any of you before. I have had no bleeding yet, but I am so upset and worried. It would be like 6 days early for my period to start, but I really feel like it. I am even emotional and moody. Anyhow I appreciate any input you might have. Thanks so much!

    Totally happened with me. Cramping is totally normal in early pregnancy!

    Ok well I sure hope that I am pregnant. I think I am having a hard time believing I could even be pregnant after so many failed attempts:( Happy for you!!

    I had a total meltdown a few days before getting my BFP because I had such period-like cramps, that i thought for sure my cycle was over. I was wrong! that's why they always say that's it's not over til she shows. GL!

    After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12

    I worried myself sick with my cramping and early morning sickness. My cramping felt like gas/bloat/streatching feeling. Try to stay positive and keep you stress down which is much easier said than done. Best of luck to you!!!

    megmacp, That is exactly what I am feeling. Actually it has subsided lasted for like 2 days, now I feel little flutters of cramping now and then, but it feels better and no period yet thank goodness!! Yesterday I began having very tender breasts, in the past that has only happened when I ovulate, so I am really hoping this means something good. I'm taking my test Wed. morning.
