Talk to me about the Fisher Price RnP (repost from 0-3 mths)

I have noticed several people on here mention the RnP. My LO is starting to spit up more, and there has been a few mornings recently, that I've noticed she spit up in the middle of the night. It makes me a little nervous as a FTM, that she's lying flat on her back and spitting up. She's also dealing with gas issues and likes to be held and cuddled frequently. We have to hold and rock her to sleep. Once she's asleep, she sleeps fine in her bassinet. Unfortunately, that can take an hour or so some nights due to the gas.

Talk to me about the RnP....do you think this would be beneficial for us?

  • It's amazing. We borrowed one from a friend and it's been wonderful. DS isn't super spotty but he does get hiccups a lot so being more upright helps him sleep. I would highly recommend it.
    * DS1...allergic to dairy, peanuts, eggs and turkey *

  • We like it best for naps during the day. I love how portable it is. I put him in it and bring it I the kitchen in the morning to make breakfast and do dishes. It is just a convenient little napper or place to put him down and take him in any room.

  • I love our rock and play - my son sleeps in it every night.

  • When DD is spitty I put her in the bouncer. She is sleeping away in it right now.

  • I have been so tempted to get one bc of ds having reflux. But I havent bc we are done with kids so it seems kind of late to buy newborn gear and I don't want to break him of sleeping in it in several months. He sleeps flat now - grunting all night - but he does sleep since doing Zantac. It was hard breaking dd of the swing, and the RnP seems even more inclined.

I see a lot of people are happy with it on 0-3. I wonder though if people on 3-6 are having a hard time getting their LOs to sleep flat after using it...

  • It is amazing!!! We use it every night for DS and he sleeps like a champ in it.
