XP: Slightly better *Adalyn update*

Well, the good news is that Adalyn's blood gases and the extra oxygen that she gets has gotten slightly better, so the new vent seems to be helping.  She didn't gain any weight again, but she didn't lose any either.  She is definitely having a much better day today than yesterday.

Her doctor also ordered an echocardiogram to check to see if her PDA (ductus) in her heart had reopened or if she had pulmonary hypertension.  The good news is that she didn't have either of those.  

They actually didn't start the steroids until this evening because she already had so many changes earlier (and getting the blood) that they didn't want to push too much stuff too fast.  So, we'll see what kind of effect the steroids have tomorrow.

I will keep you all posted as far as her progress goes.  Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughtful prayers! They really mean a lot to DH and I.

    Glad to here she is doing better. Stupid bump wouldn't work all day and I was waiting to hear good news! I will continue prayers for baby Adalyn!
