Cold sweats after c-section?

I had a c-section 12 days ago and for the past 5 days or so have woken up several times in the night with awful cold sweats. When I go to bed I feel like I'm freezing, never wake up feeling hot, but wake up drenched in sweat. I don't have a fever or any other symptoms of infection....is this normal? It seems there could be a relationship between my reduced usage of the prescription pain meds and the increased cold sweats. I see my MW tomorrow and plan to ask about all this, but just curious of thoughts here.

I think it's normal, regardless of c/s or vag, drugs or no drugs. Hormones. I would go to bed, pull up the covers, wake up sweating, kick the covers off, get cold, pull the covers back up, wake up sweating again. It still happens.
