Depaul hospital experiences...
I'm looking to know how things went for anyone that delivered there. I am a nurse and have known a lot of nurses that have delivered there and liked it, but would like to know from others what they think.
Also if anyone knows of good post delivery doc for the baby that would be in that same area.

not even for a million dollars would I ever deliver there again. I had my first son there in 2001 and it was VERY traumatic for me- due to the way I was treated by the staff (nothing physical with my delivery or anything like that)
I also spent 5 yrs as the supervisor of a pregnancy services program- had several clients deliver over the years there...still the most horrible hospital around to deliver at.
I'd have to agree...that DePaul wouldn't be my prefernce. While I haven't delivered there...my husband was hospitalized there for over a week and I was less than pleased.
Re: pediatrician in the area..we use Dr. Shirley Knight and I love her to death.
