WELP! Just found out I failed my glucose test Crying After they waited almost 2 weeks to tell me the results. I thought I was fine. Lovely. I already have major anxiety with needles/getting bloodwork and I freaked at that test. Now I get to see how much of a freak I'll be with the 3 hour. Ugh!

    They waited 2 weeks to tell you???  This doctor's office is unreal!

    What were your numbers?

    Ugh Jenn! I'm miserable =( I was so upset when I found out. Especially because they waited so long to tell me, I thought I was all in the clear. I HATE my dr's office. If I wasn't having him in like 8-10 weeks I'd be switching and finding a new dr ASAP. Mine was 174..I think they said you had to be under 140 right?

    Yeah you're way over. Sad  Don't get too worried though...it could have been a really off day for you.  And if you do have GD there are worse things than minding your diet and it will all be over in 8-10 weeks.

    Sorry! I have no experience with GD or anything, but I just wanted to chime in and say that your doctor's office sounds kind of ridiculous!

    Good luck with your next test, and just think - it's all worth it, and will be over very soon. :)

    Late to the game but I also failed my 1 hr and had to do the 3hr. It wasn't too terrible. My advice is to have something to eat with you for when you're done. After that sugar drink and waiting around I was desperate to eat something and ran into Panera in Centerton Square. GL to you.
