Wrong Board U/S today(PREG mentioned) Sorry thought I was on PGAL

Sorry I meant to post this on PGAL. I didn't realize I was on the loss board...Sorry if I hurt anyone by posting this. 

So I got the results from my 5th beta from Weds. It was 5767! Up from 1383 from Saturday.

I also had my ultrasound this afternoon. I'm measuring 5wks 5 days. Not bad at all...based on my LMP I should be 6 weeks today but I will take it. Plus we got to see the little flutter of a heart beat. Everything looked perfect.

So on to the sad PGAL part of my day. Seeing the ultrasound today made me so sad. The last time I had an ultrasound it was to confirm Logan no longer had a heartbeat. So that made today bittersweet. I cried the whole way home. I miss my little man so much. I'm stuggling with being happy and excited about this new baby and still grieving for my son. I knew this was going to be hard...hoping I can stay strong enough.

    I know exactly what you mean.  It was so weird to see a heartbeat on that u/s screen and to hear one.  I'm not sure why I didn't cry through the whole thing... it just felt so weird.  I'll never forget my last ultrasound of Peyton... it was the worst experience of my life.

    Congrats on everything looking so good!!!!  I am not and have not been in your shoes yet but I can only imagine how difficult it's going to be to be PAL.  All I can say is that we are here for you every step of the way.  (((HUGS)))

    I'm glad everything went ok for you. Also glad you didn't get flamed for posting on the wrong board! ;) Not that we're a flaming kind of board... but at least you're "one of ours".

    We love you and that baby too!! I am glad that everything looked good and I am so sorry that the US was that difficult.  You are going to be just fine, just like all the other PgAL mommies are. 

    It is a long hard road but you are going to be great at it because you love that baby and you will walk through the hottest fire for it!
