I just came across a
nursing stool on Amazon and I'd never heard of one before. I did a quick google search and found some info but I thought I would ask here - should I get one? I am a FTM who plans to nurse at least one year. We don't have a glider, yet. My friend told me I'd spend a lot of time breastfeeding on the couch. Would this help me be more comfortable? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Re: Do I need a nursing stool?
I've never wanted one.
Heck, we bought a glider (only because DH's grandma insisted on buying it for us), and I never nursed in it. I prefer the couch. I have just a simple IKEA knock-off chair in DS's room. Most of the time, we nursed lying down anyway.
It's one of those things some people like, but it's far from necessary.

This. I'm glad I got one. Mine is the Medela nursing stool.
The third time was the charm!
