anyone else have guests for theirs?? i even get a dvd of it, but that wasnt good enough for them!
Re: anatomy scan question!
first things first check with your dr office.
Mine only allowed 2 adults in the room
For me this was such a intimate moment for my Husband and I and we are quite private about things. You much kinder than I to share this moment with your family.
All of our appointments have been just DH and I. I'd actually prefer not to turn our medical appointments for the pregnancy into a group outing, because I'm often talking about other things with my doctor that I'd rather not discuss in front of others. We've taken a few videos ourselves of the first couple of ultrasounds, which we shared with family later. And we usually send any ultrasound pictures we get to the people who are most interested.
Also, have you checked with your doctor's office about your guest list? Often times they limit who and how many people can attend. For instance, I've seen a lot of places say only two guests are allowed (including the father/birth partner).

omg good thinking guys! i didnt even think to ask them! haha, ill call now!
and yes, i was a little hesitant about having them there, but i know they are doing the ultrasound first thing, then doing our appt after that, so i wasnt really worried about it being too 'medical' i guess.

And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
bleh. just my personal preference, but i would have laid my foot down and said no. i'm not one for any extra "chaos" in situations though. just me and DH. also, if there were any issues, i would want them discussed IMMEDIATELY with us in detail so i can see what they're looking at, and not wait until it's private. it was so nice having the tech explain everything she was seeing/doing, and i wonder if yours will keep her mouth shut because of your guests, and it's not "private". i would hate to think "everything must be normal!" and then later on at an appointment with my midwife (or your OB) find out there were problems.
also, i dont know if this is for everyone, but they first did a trans-vaginal ultrasound to check on my cervix, soooo....
