A friend invited us for a playdate tomorrow and I'm torn if we should go. Both girls and I have had colds most of the week, although I'm hoping we're nearing the end of them (although I think mine is yet another sinus infection that will rear its head someday). Plus, they live a half hour away. We havent been to their house since the summer so its not like we go there all of the time. I'm just worried since C hasnt had her shots yet if I should be taking her out with a stuffy nose/post nasal drip thing going on. Would you go or stay home?

    How old is the baby now?  Aren't you supposed to basically not expose them to anything for 6 weeks?  (I can't remember, but I remember something about 6 weeks).

    I probably wouldn't. It's really hard having winter babies - but we stayed home a LOT in the beginning...I just couldn't take the risk. I definitely wouldn't bring the baby around kids who go to preschool/daycare/etc and could have any number of illnesses lingering.
