FSH natural birth friendly?

Hi ladies... I hate to be just butting in here. I posted an intro a while back, but I have been doing so much thinking about my birthing experience that I would really love your opinions.

I got the recomendation from a friend to try Dr. London's practice out of Franklin Square and so far I have heard good things about the hospital. I haven't taken the tour yet (I think it's still a little early).

I am really hoping for a natural hospital birth. As little interference as possible, no drugs, let me do my own thing.

Have any ladies here given birth at FSH, and what was your experience like? Did they honor your requests involving your birth plan?

Thank you all in advance, and once again I hate to feel like I'm just butting into this board  :/   I promise to start posting more often!!

  • I've been seeing Dr. London for years - her practice is great!  DD was born at FSH and we had a great experience.  I opted for the epidural but they were very willing to work with me on whatever my requests were for delivery throughout my whole labor.  I had a birth plan but didn't have it with me at the hospital.  But the nurses were great about asking, explaining, and giving us options when possible.
