Does anyone know when our LOs can start drinking their BM or formula cold? EJ has been eating cold yogurt for a few weeks, so I wondered when we could stop worrying about warming up bottles.
I don't know the answer to this question, but when Brennan was sick with a fever of 102, I gave her formula cold from the fridge. She didn't seem to mind it at all and nothing adverse came of it. But I do still warm up her bottles, that was a desperate effort to get her temp down. It did seem to help a little actually.

I also haven't given DD cold milk, but gave her fridge temp prune juice. I don't think she liked it too much, she seemed to have to take little breaks. I would compare to drinking a glass of cold water really fast, room temp goes down easier than cold (but like pp) when you are hot (just worked out) cold feels the best.
My baby has been taking cold bottles of formula since the beginning of December. Partly because our formula specifically says not to warm it up, and partly because we would give her cold breast milk bottles and she never seemed to mind.
The warmest her bottle ever gets is room temperature. But usually, we use water straight from our fridge filter, which is pretty cold.

Neither of my kids ever had warmed up bottles. I never did it in the beginning because I knew it would be a pain to warm it when we were out. Sometimes it is room temp but usually its cold.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing! I'll have to give it a try this weekend since I know my nanny & H would find it much easier.
Maybe you were already planning on doing this, but you might need to do it in stages if she is used to warm bottles. We tried giving G a cool bottle of BM once, and she flipped. Refused to drink it. So, we are now thinking about warming them less and less...so it's not such a shock.
